Samsula Academy is a Volusia County Charter School and sister school of Reading Edge Academy in Debary, Florida. Our goal is to provide a rich and well rounded education for every student in a structured, happy, and secure environment. We foster self responsibility, courtesy, and enthusiasm for learning.
Commitment
Our commitment to a complete education includes the core disciplines as well as art, music, movement, and physical education. We offer full media services and technology labs. Speech, learning resource, and 21st century enrichment classes are also part of our curriculum. Samsula’s dedication to academic excellence is evidenced by an “A” rating from the Florida Department of Education.
Our Heritage
Samsula Academy is part of a long and rich educational heritage. Originally established as a two room school in 1912, the campus grew with the community, serving as a public elementary school for 95 years. It made the successful conversion to charter school status in 2008, and continues to deliver quality education to the community and surrounding areas. We welcome visitors and interested families to schedule a visit to our campus to learn more about our school and programs.
